Dear Peter,

I hope things are going better for you back in time, than they are for me right now. When I look at my unfamiliar surroundings, things aren't what they should be. Everything looks so advanced. The only logical explanation for this is that you have influenced the whole 70's era to skip ahead 3 decades of technology, fashion and media.

Back here in the year 2000, or you actually could almost say year 2030÷ it's so strange and different. All the people are so paranoid (because they literally have to be). They all have large dome-like bubbles around them. They say that it's for protection from pollution and rays from of the sun. The whole Ozone layer has been destroyed.
The clothing style has also changed a bunch too. Everyone is wearing these metallic colored clothes, which almost look like space suits. It seems that everything has a hint of silver, gold or bronze. Even the trees and grass aren't their normal color. I'm not even sure myself how this is happening, but human kind's technology has ruined nature so much, that the atmosphere is different. We are on the verge of loosing gravity.
Another thing, the water, it's no longer transparent, clear or pure. Man has formed so many faults, that not any water, anywhere, is usable without going through a chemical that causes it to turn an odd silver color.
Specie by specie are disappearing, and if you don't go back in time to fix all of this, soon the human race will soon be no more.
